Erdarbeiten, Erdarbeiten und nochmal Erdarbeiten. / Earthwork, earthwork and again earthwork

Wie recht ich hatte, als ich schrieb, dass Biggi noch weiter, im Garten wühlen würde.Mit einem Gartennachbarn hatte sie das Basin gerichtet und zur Verfestigung mit Wasser befüllt. Als ich heute in den Garten kam, sah es so aus:

How right I was when I wrote that Biggi would be, even further, digging in the garden .With help of a garden neighbore, they had addressed the basin and filled it with water to solidify it.

Ich bin mir gestern mehr wie ein Maulwurf vorgekommen, als wie ein Mensch. :-)

Wir habe Erde geschaufelt, und Erde geschaufelt und nochmehr Erde geschaufelt.

Yesterday I feld more like a mole, as a human being :-)

We've dug earth, and shoveled and shoveled even more earth .

Aber das Becken ist richtig eingesetzt und eingeschwemmt. Später am Nachmittag kam dann der liebe Gartennachbar noch mal und hat dann, die "Erde" für die Bambuskästen ausgegraben und die Kästen eingesetzt. Ich könnte ihn dafür umarmen .

But the pool is installed properly and be creating exceedingly (do you say so?)#

Later in the afternoon, the dear garden neighbor came again and then dug up that "Earth" for the bamboo boxes and and put the boxes into the holes.

I could hug him for it

Das Ufer des Teiches soll von den Bambuspflanzen zum Teichrand sachte abfallen und dann mit verschiedenen Gräsern, Steingartenpflanzen und Steinen gesichert werden.

The shore of the pond is from the bamboo plant fall gently to the edge of the pond and then be secured with various grasses, rock garden plants and stones.

Es hatte mich im Laufe des Tages ein Stechvieh, so lieb, dass es mich in die Hand stechen muße *grummel*

During the day, a lancing animal, loved me so much, that it had to stung me in my Hand * grumble*

Die Arbeiten am neuen Teich./Work on the new pond.

Die Erdarbeiten zum neuen Teich, wurden zwar von einem Bagger gemacht, aber "einbuddeln" müssen wir ihn selbst. Dass ist garnicht soooo einfach, da die "Erde" , in diesem Teil des Gartens nur aus Kies und großen Steinen besteht. Heute waren wir nach 2 Stunden müde.

The earthworks for the new pond,  were made by a backhoe, "but we must "entrench" it by  our self own This is not at all soooo easy, as the "earth" is in this part of the garden, just isgravel and large stones. Today, we were tired after 2 hours of work.

Soweit sind wir heute gekommen. Dann haben wir festgestellt, dass das Becken schief sitzt  :-(

That is as far as we have come today. Then we noticed that the pool sits not straight :-(

Nun ist Pause angesagt

Now we needed a rest.

Da wir mit diesem Typ von "Erde" zu tun hatten.

Because we had to handle this typ of "earth".

Ich fürchte zwar dass Biggi, wärend ich schon wieder zuhause bin, noch kräftig arbeitet.

I fear though that Biggi, while I'm already back home, still working hard on the pond.

Herbstimpressionen / Autumn Impressions

Es ist nicht mehr zu übersehen, der Herbst ist da. Hier ein paar Herbstimpressionen vom  Garten.

Da hinten schläft mein Katerchen Bärchen. ;( Er hat es da schön und ruhig. :) Ich vermisse ihn soooooooo sehr

Back there sleeps my kitten Bärchen. ;( It's nice and quiet there :) I miss him sooooooooo much.

Nach dem Nivi fast 6 Jahre bei Biggi ist, ist es das erste Mal, dass sie so entspannt im Garten liegt. Sie ist ein Strassenhund aus Spanien.

After almost 6 years living with Biggi, it is the first time that Nivi is so relaxed in the garden.She is a street dog from Spain

Noch mehr Blumen und Joey mit Haube / Even more flowers and Joey with hood

Jetzt im Spätsommer/ Herbst blüht und blüht und blüht es im Garten.

Now in late summer / autumn blooms and blooms and blooms in the garden.

Joey wurde, von einer Schäferhündin, in Garching angegriffen und fürchterlich ins Ohr gebissen. Um die Haube wieder los zuwerden, schubste er sie Biggi immer wieder in die Kniekehle. Sie blieb aber hart und so konnte die Wunde gut verheilen.

Joey was attacked by an German sheppard, in Garching and terribly bitten in his ear.

To get rid of the hood to, he pushed it Biggi repeatedly in the knee. But she remained hard and so the wound could heal well.
